The implementation of Brochesia’s B View allowed Macchi to revolutionize its approach to after-sales support. The MacchiVR system enables technicians to provide real-time assistance via wearable devices, guiding customers through the installation, start-up, and maintenance phases of extrusion lines.

A key element of this project is the use of Epson Moverio BT-350 smart glasses, which, for over four years, have enabled field operators to receive real-time visual and vocal instructions directly from Macchi’s technical team, supported by MacchiVR and Brochesia. With these devices, operators can carry out complex tasks while keeping their hands free and their focus on the job.

According to Baglivi, “The MacchiVR system, with Brochesia integrated into the project, has allowed Macchi to stand alongside our customers during installations, start-ups, meetings, and especially during downtime issues. The incredible thing is how our system can support customers during installations and even help with crane movements or minor electrical problems.”
