Brochesia had the pleasure of participating in the Telemedicine seminar organized by Wind Tre together with Active Citizenship, Capgemini Italy, Comarch and EnelX Italy, for a discussion on 5G and innovation in the paths of assistance to fragile people, thanks to the synergy between TLC and medicine.
The 5G network is almost upon us and Brochesia has had the opportunity to experience the power of the future connection. Thanks to the collaboration with WindTre, Brochesia has had the opportunity to participate, from 2018 to today, in the “Road to 5G” project.
Brochesia’s software solutions have demonstrated the benefits of 5G technology with regard to its low latency and high bandwidth availability characteristics.
The experimentation has seen the application in different use cases of the B Med software solution. The latter, applied to the healthcare sector, facilitates audio / video communication between medical personnel, and also offers various functions, such as the possibility of sharing information. .
The wearability, typical of “smart glasses” devices, allows great freedom of movement and the possibility of operating with your hands free.

The participation in the Telemedicine Use Cases has allowed Brochesia to anticipate the experimentation of new improvements for the solutions and to be able to use the technology at the service of future scenarios that will allow a better and more efficient use, guaranteeing those who will use it a unique experience. , not only thanks to Augmented Reality, but thanks to a faster connection and low latency.

The remote support (telemedicine), inside the hospital, watches in live streaming what the medical operator sees, who is inside the patient’s home. The remote operator can support it thanks to the help of the Brochesia web portal.
