On November 8th, NASA Plus, the new space-themed streaming platform from NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, was made available online.
Accessible from all Android and iOS devices, but also from streaming platforms such as Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Pluto TV and Roku, NASA Plus is totally free, withouth advertising and does not require any type of registration.
NASA had already launched its own web TV channel a few years ago, as did other space agencies such as ESA.
What content is available on NASA Plus?
The difference between NASA TV and NASA Plus is that with the latter there is much more on-demand content available that users can view at any time.
This service offers a rich variety of educational and engaging content, making it an ideal option for families looking to combine entertainment and learning.
Among the available proposals we find live streaming, podcasts, interviews with astronauts and industry experts, original series and a vast selection of videos on demand, all centered on space exploration.
By downloading the application, you open the door to a universe of continuous knowledge, with the possibility of receiving timely updates on relevant projects, such as the Artemis lunar journey scheduled for 2024 and the James Webb infrared telescope, which has already revolutionized our space knowledge since its launch in 2021.
Many different sections are available on the platform, including:
- Kids, offers a wide range of educational and fun contents focused on space and allows, through experiments and games, to involve even the littlest ones and make them passionate about the world of astronomy;
- Technology, which has as its main theme the technologies used by NASA during explorations;
- Solar System, which features many insights into the planets, satellites, asteroids and comets of our solar system;
- History, which offers documentaries, videos and series that tell the story of space travel, from the first explorations to NASA’s most recent voyages and discoveries.
Brochesia solutions have also demonstrated their versatility in the aerospace sector, so much so that last year we took part in the New Space Economy (NSE).
